Unlike eating in restaurants where the source, quality and amounts of the dairy, fat, meat, salt and sugar are questionable, cooking at home puts you in total control of the quality of meat, fat, salt and sugar used in the food you eat.
Furthermore, I hate to say it, but it is true. Restaurants are in business to make a profit, not protect your health. Due to the fact that it is imperative the food taste good, if that means adding salt, sugar, butter or cream, it goes in. Your health and dietary issues are their last concern. This is a statement of fact folks!
